Design Fees & How It Works
Initial Visit – Meet & Greet (Free)
Our first meeting is simply a meet-and-greet. We talk about your project, your goals, and whether we’re a good fit. There is no charge for this visit.
Design & Measurement Phase
I bill at $75.00 per hour for design and measurement work.
Small kitchens: ~approximately 10 hours
Medium kitchens: ~approximately 15 hours
Large or detailed kitchens: starting at 20 hours
Changes and revisions are billed hourly.
Design Fee Credit Toward Cabinet Purchase
If you decide to order your kitchen cabinets through me, 100% of the design fees you’ve paid are applied to the purchase price of your cabinetry (full-kitchen orders only).

Contractor Recommendations
If you have a contractor or you do the installation yourself that’s great!
I’m more than happy to recommend professionals I trust. These are individuals who have successfully completed numerous projects for my clients, and I would feel completely at ease having them work in my own home.
Kahle’s Kitchens: Custom Cabinetry, Built to Last
I proudly design with Kahle’s Kitchens, a custom cabinet line known for:
- Quality construction
- Excellent finishes
- Extensive customization options
- Long-lasting durability
Excellent lead times — usually 6-8 weeks, 6 weeks is normal but around the holidays it can stretch a little.
These are not off-the-shelf boxes. With Kahle’s, we can tailor your cabinetry to your space, your style, and your storage needs. Because I work closely with one primary cabinet line, I know the product inside and out — which means fewer surprises and a smoother project from start to finish.
Cabinet Delivery & Handling
One of the biggest advantages of working with me is how your cabinetry is delivered. Unlike many suppliers who ship cabinets to a warehouse — where they’re unloaded, stored, re-loaded, and then shipped again by a common carrier — your cabinets come directly from the factory to your home.
I work with an independent driver who picks up your cabinets at the factory within a day or two of completion. He supervises the loading of his trailer and often helps with the process to ensure everything is handled properly. By the next day, your cabinets are delivered straight to your home or your designated storage space.
I’m not saying damage is impossible — nothing is — but this process minimizes risk significantly, and damage is rare.
Assistance Required at Delivery
Because this is a direct-from-factory delivery, you will need to provide people to help unload the trailer. The driver will move each cabinet to the back of the trailer and check off each piece. From there, your helpers will unload the cabinets and bring them into the home or storage area.
