Custom Kitchen Design With 38 Years of Experience
Before I ever designed a kitchen, I was a New York State–certified tool‑and‑die maker. When the company I worked for eventually closed, I had a choice: move away or reinvent myself. I chose to stay. With a strong math background and years of reading blueprints, transitioning into the kitchen industry felt natural — and a job opportunity opened the door.
Nearly four decades later, I’ve built a career I’m proud of. I have more than 38 years of experience in the kitchen industry, working as both a designer and a contractor. I’ve been on job sites, in crawl spaces, and in finished kitchens long after the dust settles. I understand how cabinets are built, how they’re installed, and how the smallest design decisions affect the way you cook and live every day.
I intentionally take on only a few projects each year. That’s not a marketing line — it’s how I work best. I don’t want to be overwhelmed; I want to be fully present for the people who trust me with their homes.
When you hire me, you’re not one of dozens of jobs competing for attention. You get a designer who is personally invested in your project from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.
Now that I’m retired from contracting, I focus on what I enjoy most: helping homeowners design and build kitchens that truly work for the way they cook, live, and gather. I run a small company by design — it allows me to give each client the time, accuracy, and attention their project deserves. I’m not watching the clock or answering to a corporate office.
I answer only to you.

Why Work with Me Instead of a Box Store?
When you work with a big box store, you’re often working with an employee who may never see your home. Many rely on rough measurements the client brings in. If those measurements are off — even slightly — the mistakes can be expensive and frustrating.
I do things differently. I personally visit your home, measure the space accurately, and look at the details that don’t show up on paper: walls out of square, uneven floors, soffits, plumbing, electrical, and more. When it’s time to order I will revisit and verify all dimensions and the cabinets that will fill your space. This level of insight only comes from decades of real installation experience.
Because I’m independent, I’m not rushed by sales quotas. I take the time to get it right, explain your options clearly, and design a kitchen that fits your life — not a template.
